What did you enjoy about Foundations in Science: Energy and Matter (JS002)?
I loved the subjects we covered, especially Biology. I also really enjoyed the teacher, Ms. Kalee Tock, who always presented the material in a way that made me want to learn all I could about it.
What challenged you the most in Foundations in Science: Energy and Matter (JS002)? How did you overcome those challenges?
The labs were probably the most challenging homework assignments. I tried to start them at least 3 days early to make sure I understood what I would have to do and how long it would take for me to complete it.
What tips do you have that could be useful to students taking Foundations in Science: Energy and Matter (JS002)?

About how much time did you spend a week working on assignments and preparing for discussion sessions in Foundations in Science: Energy and Matter (JS002)?
What did the typical week in Foundations in Science: Energy and Matter (JS002) look like?
There is a reading, then a lab, then a quiz and quiz corrections. The labs are extremely fun and the quiz corrections give everyone an opportunity to learn from their mistakes.
What was your favorite topic covered in Foundations in Science: Energy and Matter (JS002)?
I really enjoyed the biology covered in JS002. It was extremely fascinating and I enjoyed seeing how everything worked.
Do you have any resources (i.e. study tips, useful websites) to share with students who want to take the course?
Mostly office hours! But making a Quizlet or flashcards for yourself is very helpful as well.
